Greetings and welcome to my brand new, hand-spun blog+site. My photography journey has been incredible! It began with fun, then grew into passion, then I discovered profound love for it and there was no looking back. Maternity Photographs : Roenna + Chris

Remember Roenna & Chris, I photographed their wedding in early January of 2009. It was a perfect day for this perfect couple. I realized how loved they were by their familes. Little over two and a half years later, I met Ro and Chris again. This time, to photograph the pre-arival of their little baby girl. The charm of being a photographer, I get to photograph their life as they grow. What else could I ask for!

The golden light, falling leaves and a running river made a beautiful setup for Roenna and Chris’s maternity pictures. Roenna looked gorgeous! Chris made it a super fun shoot. I’m beyond excited for Roenna and Chris! Can’t wait to meet their little bundle of joy…

Sacramento Capitol Park Family Portraits: The Chafey Family

Talk about an adorable family with the most beautiful blue-eyed baby girl who is about to turn one, that would be the Chafey family. I met up with Melissa, Brandon and Caitlin last weekend for their family session at the Sacramento Capitol park. Caitlin made me want to drop my camera and just pick her up, she was that adorable! I met Melissa at Amanda & Tim’s wedding last year when she was expecting Caitlin. I was excited when she contaced me this year for taking pictures of her beautiful family. I had a great time hanging out with them and capturing their family moments.

Happy Birthday (soon), little Caitlin I hope I get to see you again and next time I’ll be sure to pick you up for a big hug…:)

I have somehow managed to burry myself into a pile of work and all sorts of craziness that left my blog feel neglected from every angle. Pardon the lack of posts here…I have a lot to share, however. Sacramento High School Senior Photography : Thomas Maxey

Meet Thomas Maxey, the uber cool cartoonist who is also a guitar player. Last weekend I met up with Thomas and his family for his senior portrait session at the Sacramento Capotol park. We came out with a great set of pictures that will remind him of him senior days forever. Thomas will be joing Sac State in the coming semester and will be majoring in Computer Science. My best wishes to Thomas for all the excitement ahead!

And this isn’t your typical family photo shoot in a studio…every year we make this into a super fun family time for everybody. To my surprise, little Kashni was now talking and Jaap was the beautiful big sister even more responsible and loving than last time! The girls were all so pretty in shades of pink..it was the day before valentine’s day after all. This year we had a brand new motorcycle to play with. Daddy Bains had a new toy that we could not leave out for pictures. Then we headed to Old Sac to bring in the train track as the backdrop.

It was an awesome shoot with Gagan, Gurinder, Jaap and Kashni. I still can’t believe how fast the kids have grown. I’m truly blessed to have the opportunity to capture memories for this beautiful family. I wonder what it will be like next year…we already talked about some cool ideas for the 2012 shoot!! Can’t wait!
